Delivery Information


1. SHIPPING

We offer free standard shipping on all orders over $150 +GST, excluding equipment to account customers only. Please see section 2.3 for information about shipping benchtop and heavy equipment.

a) Customers with a trading account:
All orders under the value of $150 +GST are subject to a shipping charge of $10 + GST. This excludes benchtop equipment, heavy equipment and furniture which are subject to various shipping charges depending on the location of delivery, weight and cubic size of the product. Additional freight charges may apply for deliveries to regional or distanced locations.

b) Customers without a trading account: 
All orders are subject to various shipping charges depending on the location of delivery, weight and cubic size of the product. Additional freight charges may apply for deliveries to regional or distanced locations.


2.2. STANDARD SHIPPING


Standard shipping times vary depending on your location within New Zealand. Delivery to all capital city locations will be within 1 – 2 business days of order placement if goods are held in stock at the allocated distribution centre. Delivery to regional cities and towns from distribution centres in those locations will be 1 – 2 business days from order placement.


For Regional towns and cities outside a local distribution centre delivery lead times are 1 – 4 business days from the day of order placement. For remote locations, delivery days are 2 – 5 business days from order placement. To discuss delivery timeframes in more details, please contact your local territory manager or call 0800 428 733.


2.3. EQUIPMENT SHIPPING


If you wish to purchase equipment please contact our national equipment team directly at sales@burnsferrall.co.nz . Benchtop and heavy equipment are subject to various shipping charges depending on the location of delivery, weight and cubic size of the product.


3. RETURN OF GOODS

3.1.   As a customer, you are entitled to request a refund, repair, replacement or compensation for any drop in the value of the product if there is a major failure in that product. A product will have a major failure if it is
- faulty or unsafe;
- significantly different from the sample or its description; or
- substantially unfit for the purpose for which the product was sold (or purchased if you indicated such a purpose to us at the time of sale).
